Paper Based Sandpaper

Paper is light and generates less heat than other materials. It provides a cooler and more effective sanding. Paper Sand Paper products are available in most shapes, like discs, sheets, rolls, ect. Lighter paper is good for hand sanding, while heavier paper is good for machine sanding.

Advantages:

· often cheaper

· avaialbe in a few weights

· less friction and less heat

· creat good finish

Disadvantages:

· easily tear

· cannot be applied to wet applications unless specially treated
